Sincyllic fever is a disease present on Terra Nova capable of killing those infected. Travelers to Terra Nova have to complete inoculations. Skye's father died of this disease and her mother was presumed to have died but was in fact taken to the Sixers who have a medicine that can cure the disease. (Genesis, Part 1, Now You See Me)
