Synopsis
Elisabeth and Taylor, and later Jim and Malcolm Wallace, go to scientific Outpost 3 to investigate why communications with them suddenly stopped. They discover that all personnel there have been infected by a mysterious virus causing memory loss, paranoia, catatonia, and eventually death. Elisabeth and Taylor are also showing symptoms, and Malcolm soon begins experiencing some memory loss, leaving only Jim unaffected. Elisabeth, still cognizant but with no memory of Jim or their children, works with Malcolm to find a cure before they became catatonic. Elisabeth realizes that Jim is protected from the virus because he has a common cold, leading her to a possible cure. Taylor, also infected, believes he is still fighting in Somalia and tries to attack Jim. Back in Terra Nova, Skye introduces Josh to bar owner, Tom Boylan, who may be able to help Josh bring Kara, Josh's girlfriend he left in 2149, to Terra Nova, but Boylan demands a high price.
