The Time portal is a device which accesses the Time-Space fracture discovered in 2127 in Chicago by scientists conducting subatomic experiments. The device is located at Hope Plaza.
Overview
The device works by channeling energy from the largest particle accelerator to expand the fracture into a doorway for travel back in time 85 million years, but into an alternate timeline. The portal is dilated which activates the doorway and travelers simply walk into it and are transported through time. (Genesis, Part 1)
Notes
- Based on the fact that commander Nathaniel Taylor spent 118 days alone before the others in his group, who left shortly after he did, arrived and that the Tenth pilgrimage did not appear to have this affect, the time portal may have been upgraded. (Genesis, Part 2, Genesis, Part 1)
