The Portal terminus is a device used to anchor the time portal exit on the Terra Nova side in one place.
Overview
The terminus was sent through, in pieces, along with the fourth pilgrimage and had to be assembled on the other side. Lucas Taylor managed to figure out the means to reverse the time portal and exited Terra Nova through the terminus. The Phoenix Group brought their own terminus but it was damaged in a Carnotaurus attack, their terminus consisted of two pieces which required their own inductor coils to function.
