Nykoraptor, also called Nyko, is a carnivorous dinosaur encountered by the people of Terra Nova.
Overview
The Nykoraptors are two-legged dinosaurs with short arms. They have feathers on the ends of their tails and along their arms. They also have sparse follicle growth and three rows of incisors. Nykoraptors can jump several feet into the air. (The Runaway, Bylaw)
History
Lucas Taylor was bitten on the head by a Nyko which barely missed his jugular vein. When Jim Shannon went to find the Sixer camp and rescue Sam Marcos, he was caught in a trap and almost attacked by a Nykoraptor, but was saved at the last minute by the Sixers. Curran trapped a Nyko in the shed at Communications relay station 19-A and it killed Ken Foster. (Occupation, The Runaway, Bylaw)
