An Empirosaur [1] is a large carnivorous dinosaur encountered by the people of Terra Nova.
Overview
The Empirosaur has a large fin across its back and spines eminating from its skin on its back and tail. It has a long snout and can release a shrill roar. (Nightfall)
History
When a meteor caused an electromagnetic pulse and disabled the defensive technology at Terra Nova, Mira and the Sixers took the opportunity to herd an Empirosaur towards Terra Nova as a diversion so they could retrieve Lucas' computer. The Empirosaur almost rammed down the gates but was scared off by a large fire. (Nightfall)
