Curran

Curran was a member of the Terra Nova Security force until his banishment.

Biography

Curran served in a unit with Mark Reynolds and Ken Foster. He enjoyed gambling at Tom Boylans bar. Foster owed him large debts but was unable to pay it off, so Curran baited the shed at communications relay station 19-A with Gallusaur meat to lure a Nykoraptor inside, locking the door behind it. Foster was killed when he entered.

Later, Curran assisted with the investigation into Foster's death, arresting Tom Boylan and searching the bar for Boylan's ledger which held details about Curran's finances, taking it with him. Commander Nathaniel Taylor and Jim Shannon determined he was the murderer and took him outside the gates where Taylor banished him to the jungle without any supplies or weapons. (Bylaw)

Curran made camp near a beach where he was attacked by an Ancestral Komodo and fled into the jungle. Commander Taylor found him at his new camp and tended his wounds, then scared off the Komodo that returned to finish Curran off. Taylor told Curran to find and infiltrate the Sixers to discover the Sixer's mole's identity in Terra Nova in exchange for Taylor allowing him return to the colony. (Proof)

Curran became Taylor's spy inside Mira's camp, and eventually received orders to return Deborah Tate, Skye's mother who was being held there, to Terra Nova. Taylor felt that because Curran helped save a life after taking one, he deserved a second chance, telling him to get cleaned and rested and meet with him in the morning. (Within)
