Carnotaurus, sometimes called Carnos, is a dangerous, carnivorous dinosaur encountered by the people of Terra Nova.

Overview

Carnotaurus juveniles are said to be much more aggressive than older ones and have a much more distinctive roar. (Resistance)

History

Casey Durwin had both of his legs removed by a Carnotaurus and later made a guitar pick out of a Carno tooth. Two Carnotaurus chased two Sixer vehicles to Terra Nova, one of them managed to kill and eat one of the Sixer gunners. The other one was driven off by the sonic cannons of Terra Nova. A Carnotaurus came across Dr. Jonathan Guagenti in the jungle and ate most of him. A pair of Carnos attacked the Phoenix Group as they were transporting their portal terminus and it was damaged. When Commander Taylor and other soldiers were setting up a camp in the jungles, two soldiers, Bailey and Gonzalez were killed by Carnos. A juvenile Carnotaurus was captured and sedated and placed inside a shipping container and taken back to Hope Plaza where Jim Shannon awakened it to be a distraction while he destroyed the facility.
