The Brachiosaur is a mostly herbivorous dinosaur encountered by the people of Terra Nova.
Overview
The Brachiosauri are 60 foot tall dinosaurs with long necks they use to reach for their food. They are mostly herbivores but also supplement their diets with small reptiles which is why they have upper and lower sets of proto-lateral incisor teeth, for eating meat. Herds of the dinosaurs live near a coastal region. (Within, Genesis, Part 1, Genesis, Part 2, Proof)
History
Shortly after arriving to Terra Nova, Zoe went outside to find several Brachiosauri grazing on the trees just outside the fence and held up a branch for one of them. When she offered them a second one, she held on briefly and was lifted into the air. Several others came out to watch them. When the Phoenix Group was preparing to clear land for mining, Weaver shot a Brachiosaur in the head, killing it. (Genesis, Part 1, Occupation)
