Boylan's Bar is a bar located next to the command compound on Terra Nova run by Tom Boylan.

Overview
The bar is a large partially open area located part-way underneath the solar depot accessed by a set of stairs. The bar has an upper mezzanine level with some tables and chairs decorated with a hung Triceratops skull, and the lower level has the bar and a series of tables and chairs. (Proof, Within)

History
When Tom Boylan helped Commander Nathaniel Taylor bury a body out near Pilgrim's tree he blackmailed Taylor into deeding him the bar, which he constructed underneath the solar depot. When the colony was threatened by a swarm of Pterosaurs Taylor ensured that the bar was locked down prior to their arrival. Skye Tate took Josh Shannon to the bar to meet with Boylan as he could help get Kara to Terra Nova and Josh ended up accepting a job offer to work at the bar. (Vs., Instinct, What Remains)
The bar was temporarily shut down after Ken Foster was killed so it could be searched for Boylan's ledger which contained information about the money Foster owed Boylan. When a meteor exploded in the atmosphere above the colony and fried all of the computer chips the colony was dependent on, Commander Taylor brought the machine capable of replacing the chips to Boylan's bar to be fixed. During this crisis many people took refuge in the bar, not only for some safety but also to drink. When Boylan was arrested for having ties to the Sixers, his bar was ransacked to look for evidence against him. (Bylaw, Vs.)
When the Phoenix Group took control of the colony, many of the soldiers drank at Boylan's, some even for free. Jim Shannon found Lt. Washington in the bar after he regained consciousness and she even flirted with some of the drunk guards in order to steal off of them or plant tracking devices on them. Josh was asked by his father to get his job at the bar back so he could overhear the guards talking and when Lucas Taylor made an inappropriate action towards Skye, Josh smacked Lucas in the face with a tray and proceeded to beat him but he was stopped and he himself was beaten until his father showed up and beat the guards before being arrested.
