An Ankylosaur is a dinosaur encountered by the people of Terra Nova.
Overview
Ankylosaurs grow to a very large size and are covered in a tough hide with large spines on it. They lay green eggs with black speckles in nests. (Now You See Me, Bylaw)
History
Ankylosaurs lay eggs in nests near communications relay station 19-A and are on occassion pilfered by Nykoraptors. An egg was found at this nest, damaged and examination found it to have birth defects - its front right paw had fused to its neck, compromising its windpipe and restricting blood flow. Dr. Elisabeth Shannon performed innovo-surgery on the egg and managed to save the Ankylosaur, which later hatched. Zoe Shannon named it Boxer and cared for it but later had to release it back into the wild. (Bylaw, Now You See Me)
